Based in Southern California, Peripheral Vision is a media production company offering live event video production, commercial production, promotional, educational, and corporate training videos. Founded by independent producer, Daniel Shattuck, Peripheral Vision represents a new approach to the creation of video media through the employment of scalable multi talented crews, utilizing the latest in digital production technology. Daniel Shattuck - President, CEO and Producer

Born and raised in Southern California, Dan Shattuck, spent his early years as a professional musician playing guitar and keyboards in local popular bands. He signed a record deal with Polydor Records in the 70's with the Orange County band, Super Chief, and went on to join the legendary band, The Blitz Brothers, of San Diego. He then formed "Shake" a successful Orange County Rock and Roll band with his brother, James Shattuck with which he toured extensively. Tiring of the road, Dan decided to focus on the production side of his artistic talents. He settled down in Orange County to raise a family with his wife Gina and founded "Harrison Winter Digital," an audio production company.

At "Harrison Winter Digital," Dan put his talents to work producing bands, creating music scores, sound design and audio editing for countless entertainment, and commercial television projects as well as feature films, multimedia, educational and corporate training videos. Dan then founded "Peripheral Vision," encompassing both audio and video production. He has over 10 years of experience in the development and production of live event videos, corporate communications, broadcast television, and feature films. Dan"s music scoring and production for commercial television has included work for American Express, Taco Bell and Toys "R" US to name a few.

Dan also created the sound track and sound design for the 3D animated feature film, "Santa Versus The Snowman", produced by the Academy Award nominated producers of "Jimmy Neutron". "Santa Versus The Snowman" will be released in IMAX theatres in time for Christmas 2002.

Being a musician himself, Dan understands the creative and artistic needs of his clients. He's able to combine his skills as a musician, audio engineer and video producer, with his entrepreneurial spirit, to satisfy his clients needs and to be the driving force behind Peripheral Vision Inc.
